Baltic Church Planting

The government has helped us with finance for us to renovate the roof of the big building this month, they also plan to renovate the faзade of the building. A desire has been shown from the side of the government to support the children club" AWANA" financially and to buy chairs for the big hall. All that is a big miracle for us. The government has looked through our reports about the work with children, married couples, youth, etc. and just at that time they gained the desire to help us. Right now we plan the renovation work for renovating the roof. It is quite interesting that in spite of us not having many members of our church we decided to start renovating the building with our own efforts, and not to wait on others' help, we started with some rooms at the church, and then we moved to the corridor, then we bought a marvelous Christmas tree and put it in the hall for the services and so on. And what happened next? God opened the hearts of many people in power positions to help us with the renovation of the whole building. Praise the Lord!

There is one more very interesting moment. Those friendly relations that we have built with "Party of Agreement" that I have previously mentioned about in my reports also have become something very special. We try to reach their hearts and to tell them the good news. The director of the party met me accidentally in the street and told me that he was surprised that for the time of our relations we had not asked anything from them. He added that he would be very glad to help us with the project of the building of the church. He said that he would like to help us to purchase good windows for the church or something of that kind. But another young person form the same party that I also know because of the work, after finding out that we were going to go to St. Petersburg said that he would love to go with us. But the Lord gave a desire to me to pay for his way there and back and for his accommodation there. God does miracles. But there are more miracles happening in our hearts. God really works in the families now. This Sunday I had a conversation with one married couple that has difficulties in their relationship.

There was one more family that on Sunday that was sharing how God works in their family. Till six in the morning they were analyzing their relations and why they have difficulties and why their relations with their children are not good. Then they repented and apologized before each other. And I am sure that these kinds of things happen in many families but not all of them share it with the church. This serves as a perfect encouragement for me and not only in my relations with the Lord but also in the work that I do with Him.

In February I plan to go to a Christian conference in St. Petersburg. The conference will be dedicated to carrying out Christian camps. I plan to bring guests from there that could carry out a seminar about the father kind relations with the Lord.
