Alexander's Bio

Alexander was born into a Christian family in Belarus; he is a third generation Baptist. His family was greatly persecuted for their faith during his childhood. He himself was forbidden to talk openly about his faith, and suffered lowered grades, negative evaluations in school, etc. due to his faith.

As a high school student Alexander was approached by the KGB on three separate occasions, and promised quick advancement, career opportunities, and other rewards if he would be willing to serve as a KGB spy within the Baptist church. After his third refusal, they assured him that because of his unwillingness to cooperate, his life would be ruined.

January 2007 Report Версия в формате PDF Версия для печати Отправить на e-mail

I greet you dear friends! This is my first report in 2007.  We are used to blessing people when a new year starts, and moreover we are used to blessing our brothers and sisters in Christ. We also pray and bless you in our prayers.

We believe that our fellowship and partnership in Christ and also the prayers that we lift up for each other will not stop this year.

Almost the whole month of December we spent getting prepared for Christmas and the New Year celebrations.  These are the most attended celebration by people at church. And this year was not an exception. Almost 150 people attended our church. There were almost 100 people representing the youth and children. The Christmas service was very blessed. There were different skits and performances telling about Christ. We had guests from Liepaja. They really enjoyed it.  The whole youth group and also the children of our church had worked much before the performances. We made 110 gifts for the children and people who attended our services. We made those gifts ourselves with the efforts of our church. Praise the Lord for everything. January - was easier. We could say that we gave an opportunity to ourselves to have some rest. Now we are getting prepared for the youth meeting in Vangazhi. We are a bit ill right now, but we still work.

We wish you God's blessings. Please, support us in your prayers.

With love, the church and the family Kazmerchuk
