ISAIAH 9:6

For a child is born to us;  a son is given to us. And the government will rest on His shoulders. These will be His royal titles: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Piece.

I greet and congratulate all the staff of the mission CP-21 with these words. We sincerely wish you to feel God’s love’s beauty and richness in His great gift – in the Savior of sinners. We believe that the light of Bethlehem’s star will keep shining and guiding us on our earth’s path till the meeting with our Lord.

Merry Christmas!

I want to tell you a little bit about the events of our life.

On November 5, as usually every year we have a holiday for our Sunday school. Our Sunday school was seriously involved in the preparation for it. The program consisted of the following: Bible stories, some hymns of worship, skits, games and questions concerning Biblical issues, and of course there were rewards for them. Everything was very good and blessed. There were many children, about 50 people.

On November 12, our friends Tim Trudeau and Randy Shaver visited our church. We were very glad to have fellowship with them. We were glad to hear about them, and about their ministry. The following words from a hymn come to my mind:

He made as dear to each other,
He made us friends,
He gave us a new name -
We are called Christians.

We are so very grateful to the Lord for your sacrifice, for your ministry, for your prayers about us, about our small Latvia.

We are getting prepared for the Christmas holidays, we expect many people who live close to the church to come and visit us on those days. We have prepared a long list of the program for Christmas that now we are working at. Already for three weeks we leave the house at 9:30 a. m.  for the service and come home only at 6 p. m. We are tired but very glad.

Sincerely yours,

Alexandr
