Baltic Church Planting

The brightest occasion this month was the celebration of Thanksgiving. I was the organizatior of the event, so I tried to do everything for all the people who wanted to take part in it, to do it. The youth had prepared a drama, the brothers organized the issue of food and the tables, the sisters of our church decorated the hall, and prepared food, and so on. We had invited two very dear friends of us to this celebration, that is brother Voctor Abramov with his wife from Jelgava, and Tahir. They were preaching during the first part of our celebration and were sharing testimonies and answering ot questions during the second informal part. Also brothers and sisters from our church were sharing testimonies about the ways how God has been blessing them this year. Also it was very interesting that brothers and sisters who left the church a year ago and decided to meet in a small group also came to this event. Moreover, two sisters decided to come back to church after a long period of being away from the Lord. In the evening we went to the seaside with our guests as we usually do, and later we had our family meeting at home. It was a very exciting and blessed day for all of us.

Every Sunday evening we come together for the family fellowship, sometimes those are just evening where we share our needs, and  sometimes, where we share our joy and testimonies. For instance, after going to bath, we got to know about a very difficult situation with one young couple. We decided to continue the fellowship at home, and God comforted that sister’s heart and she shared it with us. We were talking till 3 o’clock in the morning. Now the situation is settled down, everything is OK. I preach on Sundays, and also lead the service with brothers and family fellowship.
