We had a wonderful occasion this month: the first time we had a baptizing at the new building of our church. We had bought a big pool. We filled it with water, and baptized people there. It was amazing that the son of sister Bella was baptized (I have written about her in one of the last reports), she had been looking for her son for many years since the divorce with her husband. 23 years have passed, and she found him some time ago in her and his motherland- in Azerbaijan. All those years he was a passionate Muslim, but her mother brought him to a Christian family, and a terrible fight inside him started. This fight was going on for half a year, but God showed His mercy and power, and Vahib is His son now. The same Sunday when we were celebrating Easter, one more soul came to our Lord, Jesus Christ through being baptized. After the formal part, the parents of those that were baptized made a wonderful holiday for all those who came to share heir joy. God continues to bless our youth services: Those guys that were far from the Lord now are coming in front and are asking for forgiveness before the Lord. They just fall down and cry sincerely. We ask you always to support this ministry in your prayers. God is fighting for every soul, and our prayers are very important, because there are still guys that have not expected Jesus into their hearts. This Sunday we had guests who were very active and took an active part in all the parts of our service: Those were Pastor Alexander Kazmerchuk with his wife and with the youth team from their church. They came to us on Saturday, and stayed with us. On Sunday we had a wonderful service all together. We decided to continue our friendship. One new tradition-such as a family club, that is taking place at one flat- is developing in our church. Almost every Sunday we come there together to share God's love. This one of my early dreams that is coming true now. Thanks the Lord! |
