Alexander's Bio

Alexander was born into a Christian family in Belarus; he is a third generation Baptist. His family was greatly persecuted for their faith during his childhood. He himself was forbidden to talk openly about his faith, and suffered lowered grades, negative evaluations in school, etc. due to his faith.

As a high school student Alexander was approached by the KGB on three separate occasions, and promised quick advancement, career opportunities, and other rewards if he would be willing to serve as a KGB spy within the Baptist church. After his third refusal, they assured him that because of his unwillingness to cooperate, his life would be ruined.

Acts 17:28

I greet you all and bless you in the name of Jesus Christ.

We live and move and exist by Him indeed. Only some time ago we were greeting each other in the holy Easter holiday, but today already a month has passed since that. This month we have had big meetings with the teachers and the pupils of the schools, greeting them and sharing the boxes from the missionary programme " Samarian bag", this tradition was started by Franclin Gren. The first meeting took place at the secondary school of Darznieki. There were children from 11 to 15 yrsd old and their teachers as well. We also were at another schololm where we had an opportunity to bless children of pre-school age. The teachers and the headmaster of the school also were there. Everybody really liked it, and particularly - children. God helps us, He opens all the doors necessary for His work to be done here on the earth for His kingdom. Now as we have developed very nice relations between these schools, we are highly welcome to share God' s will in the lives of children. This is an opportunity to share God's word to the students and to the teachers. On April 22-23, we were in Liepaja visiting another church called "Voice of Gospel". Their youth had been here at our church. It was in autumn, and so we decided to go and visit them this spring. We went there, first of all, to share the joy of the victory of the Christ Jesus' depth, and to be thankful for the joy and to get to know how they work at the children's ministry. It is wonderful that we all are brothers and sisters in our Lord and that we can visit each other, and to share the joy that. May the hand of God to be above you.
