Peace to you dear brothers and sisters! The church "Hope" and my family send their greetings to you. Thank you very much for your prayers and the support. The summer of this year is not that hot but there are so many things to be done this year in our church.

We had a seminar for the ministers and their families in June. It was about the book of Revelation.  There were pastors and preachers form Estonia and Latvia at it.

We went hiking for three days around the river GAUJA with our youth.

The youth really enjoyed it. We are planning to organize something of the kind next year too. After the hike we went to a summer camp which was held for 6 days. That was the 10th camp already.  The youth was the leaders and the helpers of the camp. There were 70 people at the camp. We also involved the young people who because of different reasons had not been attending the church for a few years already.  They are 15016 years old. This is a very difficult age when the youth is making serious decisions in their lives.

Many of these people repented and came back to Christ and the church. We need to pray for them to be stronger in Christ.

We went to Tartu (25 people) in July. It is 100 km away from us. There is a group of Russian believers in Tartu. Mostly those are elderly people who are more than 70 years old. Our Estonian believers have concern about the situation in that church. So we were asked to help to lead the service at that church.

We also need to pray for that church as there are not young people at that church. The future of that church is very sad. In other words, there is no future in that church.  Serious changes are needed in that church.  The Russian ministers have asked me to help them with this difficult situation, and it means that I will have less time for myself.  Please, pray for the Lord to give me strength, energy, wisdom, and vision to help that church.

We will have baptism on the first Sunday of August in our church. It is a joy that the church fulfills its heart commandment. Matt. 28:19, 20.

We will have a choir form Kiev (25 people) on August 7-8. They will help s to carry out the evangelical services in our town. We have rented the Lutheran church for this purpose.  The inhabitants of our town and especially, the Estonians attend that church.  That is one of the ways of outreach.  Thank you for your prayers.  We really need those.

Christian greetings and prayers for you, Your brother,

Vladimir Pchelnikov
