Alexander's Bio

Alexander was born into a Christian family in Belarus; he is a third generation Baptist. His family was greatly persecuted for their faith during his childhood. He himself was forbidden to talk openly about his faith, and suffered lowered grades, negative evaluations in school, etc. due to his faith.

As a high school student Alexander was approached by the KGB on three separate occasions, and promised quick advancement, career opportunities, and other rewards if he would be willing to serve as a KGB spy within the Baptist church. After his third refusal, they assured him that because of his unwillingness to cooperate, his life would be ruined.

I am really glad to greet you, the participants of the program CP-21 with the love of our God Jesus Christ! By the mercy of God, all of us are alive and we keep sharing the Gospel. The summer is gone. The summer was full of difficult things to be accomplished, different activities and plans. We have also managed to rest a bit. However, there is always a lot of work in church. There is a day of fathers this Sunday and then there is a day of Harvest and so on...

We worked a lot during this summer. We worked in the building of the church and around the church. As the teachers of the Sunday school were very busy, we were not able to carry out a Christian summer camp this year but we had some activities for children every Saturday and it was like a day camp for children.

We went to Byelorussia with my family; we visited some church and our relative there. We rested a bit form the everyday things here in Latvia.  When we got back we started to renovate the house.

That is it in short.

I am looking forward to our meeting soon. We will talk in grater details. Please pray for us. Particularly for Linard and Lily, there are some problems.

Sincerely yours,

Alexander
